The Palisades Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course located within the 1,600-acre master planned Palisades community just off NC Hwy 49 on the southwest corner of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Palisades Country Club opened for play in 2004. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Greens are typical Nicklaus with lots of slope. A number of drives require a carry to the fairway hit from a chute. Not many greens require a carry to reach. #8, a 183 yard par-3 eighth is reminiscent of #16 at Augusta.
The Palisades Golf Course plays to a par 72.
From the back tees, the course plays to 6,797 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,758 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 571 yards. The shortest holes on the course are # 4 and 10, both par-3's that play to 164 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 529-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, one of the 164 yard par-3's.

My son's wife does business with course staff, SO we got two (2) guest passes, very nice. Even though the fairway grass has changed I can tell that in the summer this would be a GREAT track to play. We switched up the tee box's (Black / Blues) depending on the hole lengths just for fun and landing areas. Very playable from the tips and generous landing for stray shots. Shot 82/31 putts in 3hrs on some good size greens that are very fair and not too tricky. Guessed that $60-$80 would be the price here as the pro shop was very helpful with everything else we wanted. Houses are way back and don't interfear or take away from the hole set-up. Will play again.
